Océan Développement was founded in 2008 by two renowned sailor-athletes, Stève Ravussin and Franck David. Today, the partners and members of the management team are Marco Simeoni, Franck David, and Jean Guyon. Océan Développement is also a long-standing team of engineers, sailors, and adventurers passionate about the sea and performance, who have successfully combined expertise in renewable energies with innovative solutions for cutting-edge yachting. A dedicated center of expertise entirely focused on the new MODX series.

Bpifrance finances and supports companies at every stage of their development, through loans, guarantees, innovation assistance, and equity investment. Bpifrance supports Océan Développement during the feasibility and industrial development phases of the MODX concept.
